Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) is an innovative program developed by Marie Walton-Mahon for students to understand the depth of training muscle memory in achieving their personal best in classical ballet.   It is difficult for students to feel what muscles initiate the correct alignment in ballet training. However, as the fit ball is continually mobile under the students’ body it gives the students a sense of posture and weight–placement while feeling each of the correct muscle groups. Each exercise has been developed  with care and guidance.  The programs have received positive feedback from teachers’ and students worldwide.  

​After continual success in monitoring the students’ progress in these integral areas of ballet training, Marie was encouraged by teachers to produce her programs and share the Progressing Ballet Technique. The programs are  wonderful teaching tools that enhance ballet training. ​ PBT website:
